Youth Offending Services (YOS)
Welfare Call also work with local authorities’ Youth Offending Services (YOS).
The YOS would receive the same reports as the Looked After Children departments (LAC). However, as youth offenders tend to change educational establishments and court orders on a more frequent basis, YOS would need to notify Welfare Call on a weekly/biweekly period of any additional names that need monitoring or any names that need monitoring ceased.
