Looked After Children
Welfare Call now works with over 70 authorities (Authority Listing) throughout England. The authorities we work with have varied numbers of Looked After Children, ranging from as few as 40 children per authority to over 900 in others. We monitor both inner and outer borough children. From our offices in Barnsley, 65+ call operators (all CRB checked) monitor the attendance of 15,000 children daily. We call over 5,000 schools per day to obtain the attendance marks for each child.
If the child has not obtained a mark that day we then contact the carer or social worker dependant on each individual authority’s preference. The data we provide has developed from being an up to date picture of attendance to become part of some authorities planning of future strategies. Please view the Process Analysis link for a detailed description of how we collect and report on the data.
Included in the cost is the collection of GCSE's and SAT's. We also collect PEP dates, basic SEN information and the names of Designated LAC Teachers.
For an additional cost we will also collect Teacher Assesments.
To follow is an overview of the reports we supply authorities with, on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
