National Mourning Closure : Monday 19th September

As you will probably be aware Britain has been given an extra bank holiday for the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral on Monday September 19th.

The DfE has confirmed that all schools and colleges should close on the bank holiday approved by King Charles III.

In an email to schools and colleges, the Department for Education said: “settings that are normally closed on a bank holiday should close on this day as a mark of respect. This will include schools and colleges.”

They added that normal attendance is expected throughout the national mourning period, other than the bank holiday.

Therefore, we can confirm that Welfare Call Group will be closed on Monday 19th September 2022; our online services, that is, Extranet, ePEP and Analytics will be running as usual: ALL services will be resumed Tuesday 20th September 2022.
